大分県では、今日（２日）は、熱中症の危険性が極めて高い気象状況になることが予測されます。外出はなるべく避け、室内をエアコン等で涼しい環境にして過ごしてください。
また、特別の場合＊以外は、運動は行わないようにしてください。身近な場所での暑さ指数を確認していただき、熱中症予防のための行動をとってください。
＊特別の場合とは、医師、看護師、熱中症の対応について知識があり一次救命処置が実施できる者のいずれかを常駐させ、救護所の設置、及び救急搬送体制の対策を講じた場合、涼しい屋内で運動する場合等のことです。
＜特に実施していただきたいこと＞
・熱中症搬送者の半数以上は、高齢者（６５歳以上）です。身近な高齢者に対し、昼夜問わず、エアコン等を使用するよう声掛けをしましょう。
・高齢者のほか、子ども、持病のある方、肥満の方、障害者などは、熱中症にかかりやすい「熱中症弱者」です。これらの方々は、こまめな休憩や水分補給（１日あたり１．２Ｌが目安）を喉が渇く前から、より積極的に、時間を決めて行いましょう。また、外出も控えるようにしましょう。

In Oita Prefecture, today (2nd), extremely high risk of heatstroke is predicted. Please avoid going outside as much as possible and create a cool environment indoors using air conditioning or other means. Furthermore, unless under special circumstances*, please refrain from engaging in physical activities. Check the local heat index and take measures to prevent heatstroke.
*Special circumstances refer to cases where a physician, nurse, or someone capable of providing primary life-saving treatment for heatstroke is present, measures for setting up first-aid stations and emergency transportation are implemented, or when exercising in a cool indoor environment, etc.

Specific actions to be implemented
More than half of heatstroke cases requiring transportation involve elderly individuals (65 years old and above). Reach out to elderly people around you regardless of day or night and encourage them to use air conditioning or other cooling methods. - In addition to the elderly, children, individuals with pre-existing conditions, obese individuals, and people with disabilities are considered more susceptible to heatstroke as "heatstroke-prone individuals." These individuals should take frequent breaks and ensure proper hydration (approximately 1.2 liters per day) even before feeling thirsty. It is also advisable for them to limit their outdoor activities.
